The Power of Words
Our faith unites us and our writing brings us together.
In prayer and with great joy we offer our work for the glory of God.
We believe God has placed creativity in our soul.
Just as some create with paint and others with clay, we create with words.
And because God created with words, we know they have great power.
With words God spoke the universe into being.
With words He painted the sky and sculpted the earth.
With words He created man in his own image.
Still today God uses words to speak miracles into being.
And with the written word of the Holy Bible He comforts His children.
Because we have chosen the instrument of God’s own creativity to craft our work,
And because our written words will outlive our earthly existence,
We ask God to place His spirit in each word we write.
We pray that our words will speak love to the generations of today and tomorrow.
We have joined our hearts in this book to proclaim God’s love to the world.
May our words and the words of Scripture truly become “Treasures of the Heart.”

Dear Jesus,
